Must have been an off night for Alias. Burgers came well done despite medium rare order. In place of a brioche bun, a standard sesame bun was used instead, which completely fell apart with the first bite. Otherwise looks like a decent place though.

Agree with the review but would have rated this burger as a "4" due to the overpowering influence of the gorgonzola cheese.

Very strange. This was a full burger last time I went. Funny how some restaurants HATE sticking with what works.

Sorry, gotta disagree. For us purists, we eat our burgers the way it's served (none of the cutting it in half dilly) and all I have to say is, IT'S MESSY!! The bun was slightly stale but made it good to soak up all that grease. Burger was slightly over seasoned, and what’s with that frilly salad? Overall, it was good..if you like gourmet. :)

I've had this burger a few more times since my last review and unfortunately it looks like things are going down hill. The burger is getting smaller with every visit and can be overwhelmingly salty. In fact, I couldn't even see the meat inside the bun the last time I tried it. Such a shame when a good thing goes bad...

Gotta agree with this rating. What an amazing combination of flavors in this burger! It's not on the dinner menu but you can order it anyway.

The atmosphere at Paul's is dank for sure, but personally I love the absolutely gluttonous, brontosaurus-sized burgers. I go for the burger medium-rare with cheddar and sauteed onions, which stays manageable on the bun. Too many toppings and for sure you'll have a tough time with the sandwich. If you miss McHale's on 8th Avenue, this is the place for you...

Tried this burger last night and boy was it good. Very unique on account of the meat's texture and one of the best I've had in recent memory. The review on this one is spot on. Also of note - this place has a wonderous selection of Belgian beers.
